Customer Background


This Natural Resources Bureau is a working department of the municipal people's government. It was formed by integrating the responsibilities of the former Municipal Land and Resources Bureau, the responsibility of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission for organizing the compilation of major functional zone plans, the urban and rural planning management duties of the Municipal Planning Administration Bureau, relevant responsibilities of the Municipal Housing Security and Real Estate Management Bureau, the water resource survey and ownership registration management duties of the Municipal Water Resources Bureau, the grassland resource survey and ownership registration management duties of the Municipal Agriculture Committee, and the forest, wetland resource survey and ownership registration management duties of the Municipal Forestry and Gardens Bureau. As a working department of the municipal government, it is responsible for managing the city's natural resource assets owned by the whole people, including land, minerals, forests, grasslands, wetlands, water, etc., and for regulating all territorial space uses. It provides for the rational development and utilization of natural resources across the region in accordance with scientific principles, firmly following sustainable development policies. As authorized, it supervises and inspects the implementation of major policies, decisions, deployments, and laws/regulations from the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the Autonomous Region Party Committee, the Autonomous Region People's Government, the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal People's Government, the District Party Committee, and the District People's Government concerning natural resources and territorial space planning.
